Painter and Tattooer out of Tempe, Arizona, Erika Jaynes makes art that has weird surreal themes, often involving unnatural figures and strangely morphed animals, with a colorful comic book and graffiti-esque style. Much of her artwork has dark underlying themes, but with serene characters as the inhabitants. She’s been painting and making art since she was a child, but also as degrees in the Fine Arts from Arizona State University.
